Back to HomeOUR PRINCIPLES

Rules that do not change as the product grows.

These rules apply to the website, app, Decision Engine and every future feature, even when a different business choice would be easier.

01

The decision remains yours

ShouldIBuy advises and explains. It does not order, manipulate or present a Recommendation as an obligation.

02

Explain before persuading

Every result shows the main reasons, limits and what could change it.

03

Say when we do not know

Missing or weak data lowers Decision Confidence. Uncertainty is not hidden behind a precise score.

04

No hidden incentive

Payments, affiliations and partnerships cannot change scores or Recommendations.

05

Controllable privacy

We collect only what is useful. People can understand, correct, export and delete their data.

06

Less noise, more utility

Notifications and monitoring should act only when something important changes.

When a feature conflicts with a principle

The principle wins. Useful functionality does not justify lost autonomy, opacity or commercial pressure.
